Independent designer working across identity systems, editorial layout, and product surfaces. Currently partnering with founders and small teams shipping things they care about.
I’m Jamie — a Brooklyn-based visual designer. I’ve spent the last decade helping founders, editors, and product teams give their work a coherent voice — through identity, typography, and the small interface decisions that shape how a thing is read.
My approach is calm and a little patient. I sketch a lot, write almost as much, and try to understand a project before I open Figma. Most of my favorite work has come from long, weird conversations with people who care about what they’re making.
Before going independent in 2021 I was a senior designer at Folio Press, where I led the identity practice and helped redesign three magazines you’ve probably read on a flight.
I'm taking on two new clients for Q3 2026 — identity systems, editorial work, or focused product surfaces. Tell me what you're building.
