Working on the Design and UX team at Kaplan has helped me further understand aesthetics, functionality and human behaviour. The role is largely focused on applying design principles to produce visually pleasing outcomes on campaigns (see examples below) along with print-related projects which you can find at the end of this page.
Better Future Campaign
The concept for this campaign focused on 'building' a better future by stacking the background blocks and blending the relating icons to each block which connects to the headers message.
Sustainability Campaign
For one of Kaplan's quarterly campaigns, we used the brand green to convey ’Sustainability’ with gradients, fading to brand tints. A new font was chosen with a clean, friendly hand-crafted appearance that suited the theme. Icons were rendered white monochrome which worked well with the background gradient. The dotted arc connecting icons added emphasis on the ‘Sustainable’ theme.

AAT Summer Campaign
This campaign's theme was ‘Accelerate in Your Career’ after narrowing down a few ideas, I decided to use this symbol to represent a forward motion - encouraging students to enrol for a free AAT trial, Fast Track their career and to get qualified. I chose a mixed demographic for the target audience, with a confident cross-armed pose for each student.

Career in Accountancy Campaign (ToFu)
An effective lead magnet ‘top of the funnel' landing page. Compelling students to become accountants by enticing them to download a brochure with more valuable information.
